New Games Again
Heh... This is interesting.... I will have a total of 29 games after my sister who is in US brings back 6 more games. Out of the 29, 6 will be expansions. Among the current 23, I have not tried out 9 of those games. Wow! What a waste! haizzz.....
Heh... already looking forward to having my own house with these 29 games available! When will that be? sigh....
A little update though. The 6 new games, titled; Talisman, Ticket To Ride with Expansion, SET, Hey! That's My Fish and Shadows Over Camelot are superb additions. Talisman is an age old game, this being the 4th edition. I 1st played this game when I was in Sec Sch or even Pri Sch... it's so long ago I can't even be certain. Probably Pri Sch then, before Magic The Gathering appeared ba. Looking forward to this game the most.
Next up is Ticket To Ride, this game was 1st played with Shiying and Jiewei, and as new players, Shiying pwned us as he knew the strategies of this game well. It's his game afterall. Played this game again against Ling's CG, namely Ling, Mel, Sebby and ZL. Thrashed them as this time, hehe... I'm the only 1 who knew beforehand the mechanics of the game. They had fun though.
3rd is SET, which I played with in ACS against my fellow dogz... An ingenious game that those with a niche for patterns excelled in. I know that I was amongst the best players in this. Introduced to us by out Maths teacher, Mr Heng O.K. Ho gai seow.
4th is Hey! That's My Fish, which should be an interesting game judging from the stuff I read. Would make a great family game I suppose.
Last but not least, Shadows Over Camelot. This should turn out to be a classic. Based on King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table, this is a co-operative game whereby they play together against a traitor in the midst. Looking forward to the twists and turns of this game.
Can't wait to play all these games against the likes of... Xuefeng, Xuemei, ZhengLong, Andrew, Ling, Ching, Gordon, Ashley, Ruth, CheowSheng, Alvan, Eliz, Weixiong, Becky, Fangming, Yuyun, Wenlong, Mervin, Mel and whoever else are into Euro-style boardgames!

Time Flies
How scary! 1 in 3 mths has passed. Onto my studying plans, I've gotten hold of the notes and am approximately 10% into it. That's simply not good at all. Target now is to really stop all TV and DotA. The time-table didn't work! Hahaha... what's new?
Anyway, Good and Bad news! The Good news is, Xuefeng has got a $250 pay rise. That's $3k a yr! Bad news though.... she has now overtaken me in pay. Now she'll be even more yaya papaya liaozzz... haizzz... what to do?
Everything always ties back in to 1 thing. That is, my ACCA. I need that bloody cert man! Now just got to do the small thing of studying. ARGHHHH!!!!! Stressed...

Time to Settle Down
Hey, don't be mistaken. I was not referring to the Big Day. I meant that it is high time I reflected on my life. Here's the few...
1) Study Life - NO more slacking. Set aside time daily to study. Irrespective of schedules.
2) Physical Condition - NO more growing.... Eat well, drink healthy, exercise more.
3) Spiritual Walk - NO more skipping church. Hope my best pals Gordon and Ashley will wake up their idea too as I awake from my slumber.
4) Career Options - NO more excuses. Take a pay cut and get into the banking and finance industry!
Luke 2:52~ And He grew in Wisdom and Stature, and in favour with God and Men.
- Mental - Physical - Spiritual - Social -

This is a Set-up
CFCC YF Carnival
As seen by the spate of pictures, the carnival was a successful event! We had games whereby young and old all took part and enjoyed themselves. CFCC will always be like a family. There was only 1 sad part...... I didn't win anything!!! How can that be? :'(
Oh well, special thanks to Ruth and Mel who did nearly all the hard work with preparations to make this a success. Fund-raising wise, it was minimal.... usually get a better return purely with lunch.... but, we believe the church had a day of fun and that's what mattered. ;D

A Night of Great Photos - Courtesy to Mervin and Hannah's Wedding
The handsome pair! Alvan looks dashing here la.... Good choice Eliz. :p
The next church couple.... or so to speak.
Kenna intercepted by Andrew and Joy. What a golden couple!
If you consider these 2? hahaha.... Don't play play..... these 2 got depth one hor....
The 4 girls are..... no comments. :X
These 5 girls are so much more pleasing. hahaha. Statement with vested interest.
A photo of 3 playful guys. Some alternatives to the mass of girl photos.
Family photo! I asked Aunty Jennifer for a family photo, and Jiayan was shying away but Aunty Jennifer told her to stay inside for the photo! hahaha
Oh Yes, by the way, Merf is Married
Spot how his leg is comfortably placeed. We could be out here all day.
Kneeling and singing. Very undesirable task.
Rushing out for the door already? A very impatient Merf I must say.
So much for weddings...... So fast..... so furious. hahaha.....
With Famous People
Yibao trying to give advice to Tiger Woods.....
Not knowing that the club should not be left hanging in mid air! hahaha
Jack Sparrow wouldn't mix with these people! hahaha
Shots taken at Madame Tussauds. According to them, the wax figures look more real in live than taken through photos. Am I the only one that thinks Xuefeng is super photogenic?!?!! :D
Xuefeng in London
The above are just some shots of Xuefeng in London..... during her 20 days visit to Xueyan. Of course Yibao was also around, and of course their DuaYee was a fellow companion in this trip. Her graduation trip was as good as fully sponsored.... even the little she spent, was from ang pows generously given to her to enjoy the trip. My take is that she must have been such a nice girl that she gets so many sponsors for such an exciting trip.
Oh, between, Xuefeng so pretty hor? Xueyan comes in a very very close 2nd! hahaha. :p

ACCA Exams Over
My June papers are finally over. 1 thing for sure though.... this time round the results will be horrifying. Well, I was warned though. The papers are super tough. In fact, probably the toughest of this professional certification. It's a sure-die cause I completed like 50 marks out of 100 worth of questions for 2 of my 3 papers. Slow...... too slow...... and what are the chances I'll ace the paper scoring full marks for the parts I've attempted? Bleah! :/
Ah...... my resolution is that I will take 4 papers in December. Time to start studying for December exams already. GOGOGO!!!

Badminton Record
Heh...... just for good measure. A mini-announcement to make.
I, Liw Meng Yang, defeated Andrew Wan Wei Chung in a short game of badminton 11-9 on Sunday 10th June 2007.
This breaks a 13 year-old record when my last victory against Andrew in badminton singles came in sec. 2. Muahahaaa....

Grooming for Ariel
Woot........ for the sake of Mervin's wedding, decided to help make Ariel kilat kilat. Made an appointment to have Ariel go through a full grooming to clay, wax then polish. Tyre shine, leather shine and even dashboard also shine. All this for just a fair payment of $88, or so I thought. Turned out, I was an unhappy customer. Ariel wasn't as shiny as I thought she could be. The leather polish just makes the interior have an oily feeling. The roof just kept producing a crackling sound the whole afternoon under the sun baking. Guess the wax was just too fresh. Must do 2 days before instead of the day before. Lesson learnt.
Dissatisfied and determined never to do full grooming ever again..... unless Ariel is the bridal car. hahaha...... :(

Shrek 3!
Besides watching Spiderman 3, have also caught Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Next up would of course be Shrek 3. Boooo...... but Xuefeng suddenly decides to accept catching Shrek 3 with her sec sch frenz. bleah. Now, people, please make an appointment to catch Shrek 3 together with me! hahaha.....
On Pirates 3, At World's End. The part of "welcome to Singapore" doesn't carry much effect. A pretty weak statement...... Alas, I still enjoyed the show. My keenest interest was on the part of the 9 pirate lords. They were all so cool. Just think the whole notion of sailing all over the World on those type of ships was such a challenge. My favourite scene had to be the Black Pearl 'sailing underwater'. A really nice sight. The crabs moving the Black Pearl came a close 2nd.
That's it. Shrek 3 Shrek 3 Shrek 3!

Remedial Training
Have attended 5 RT sessions so far...... starting from 19th May. So tiring...... my body is aching all over these few weeks.... very very fierce. Now now, where is my ipod shuffle when I'm exercising? hahahaaaaa........ aiyah..... cannot sia..... shuffle will get scratched with the siong-ness of my workout. Such a dread each time I'm there..... heh....... but by the end of RT, I would be healthier. It's all worth it.
Side note, Sebby is quite nice man. Offered to split for my summon on Sunday. $30 down the drain..... duh......
