New Games Again

Heh... This is interesting.... I will have a total of 29 games after my sister who is in US brings back 6 more games. Out of the 29, 6 will be expansions. Among the current 23, I have not tried out 9 of those games. Wow! What a waste! haizzz.....

Heh... already looking forward to having my own house with these 29 games available! When will that be? sigh....

A little update though. The 6 new games, titled; Talisman, Ticket To Ride with Expansion, SET, Hey! That's My Fish and Shadows Over Camelot are superb additions. Talisman is an age old game, this being the 4th edition. I 1st played this game when I was in Sec Sch or even Pri Sch... it's so long ago I can't even be certain. Probably Pri Sch then, before Magic The Gathering appeared ba. Looking forward to this game the most.

Next up is Ticket To Ride, this game was 1st played with Shiying and Jiewei, and as new players, Shiying pwned us as he knew the strategies of this game well. It's his game afterall. Played this game again against Ling's CG, namely Ling, Mel, Sebby and ZL. Thrashed them as this time, hehe... I'm the only 1 who knew beforehand the mechanics of the game. They had fun though.

3rd is SET, which I played with in ACS against my fellow dogz... An ingenious game that those with a niche for patterns excelled in. I know that I was amongst the best players in this. Introduced to us by out Maths teacher, Mr Heng O.K. Ho gai seow.

4th is Hey! That's My Fish, which should be an interesting game judging from the stuff I read. Would make a great family game I suppose.

Last but not least, Shadows Over Camelot. This should turn out to be a classic. Based on King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table, this is a co-operative game whereby they play together against a traitor in the midst. Looking forward to the twists and turns of this game.

Can't wait to play all these games against the likes of... Xuefeng, Xuemei, ZhengLong, Andrew, Ling, Ching, Gordon, Ashley, Ruth, CheowSheng, Alvan, Eliz, Weixiong, Becky, Fangming, Yuyun, Wenlong, Mervin, Mel and whoever else are into Euro-style boardgames!

Time Flies

How scary! 1 in 3 mths has passed. Onto my studying plans, I've gotten hold of the notes and am approximately 10% into it. That's simply not good at all. Target now is to really stop all TV and DotA. The time-table didn't work! Hahaha... what's new?

Anyway, Good and Bad news! The Good news is, Xuefeng has got a $250 pay rise. That's $3k a yr! Bad news though.... she has now overtaken me in pay. Now she'll be even more yaya papaya liaozzz... haizzz... what to do?

Everything always ties back in to 1 thing. That is, my ACCA. I need that bloody cert man! Now just got to do the small thing of studying. ARGHHHH!!!!! Stressed...

For those who still don't know. I intend to take 4 modules this Dec. With nothing much to distract me, unless I really get a job change.... this should be attainable. Start now... or NEVER! There is no more tomorrow then start excuses anymore.

Last thing. I really did like studying back in my JC days. Always and still do... think that a hardworking MengYang is super charming! hahaha

Time to Settle Down

Hey, don't be mistaken. I was not referring to the Big Day. I meant that it is high time I reflected on my life. Here's the few...

1) Study Life - NO more slacking. Set aside time daily to study. Irrespective of schedules.

2) Physical Condition - NO more growing.... Eat well, drink healthy, exercise more.

3) Spiritual Walk - NO more skipping church. Hope my best pals Gordon and Ashley will wake up their idea too as I awake from my slumber.

4) Career Options - NO more excuses. Take a pay cut and get into the banking and finance industry!

Luke 2:52~ And He grew in Wisdom and Stature, and in favour with God and Men.

This is a Set-up

I never say anything! hahaha..... You guys made your own conclusions! The power of pictures.

CFCC YF Carnival

As seen by the spate of pictures, the carnival was a successful event! We had games whereby young and old all took part and enjoyed themselves. CFCC will always be like a family. There was only 1 sad part...... I didn't win anything!!! How can that be? :'(

Oh well, special thanks to Ruth and Mel who did nearly all the hard work with preparations to make this a success. Fund-raising wise, it was minimal.... usually get a better return purely with lunch.... but, we believe the church had a day of fun and that's what mattered. ;D
